Vandalism Plagues Political Campaigns in Osun State of Nigeria

Supporters of Pade Okunola woke up Sunday morning on June 17, 2018, to find vandals had attacked his poster effectively defacing his campaign billboard. ThePadeForGovernor campaign team notified the police and other agencies involved with security in the state. Pade Okunola is an aspirant for the office of the governor of Osun State of Nigeria under the Accord Party.

The billboard posted prominently on the Gbogan – Ibadan Road, Osogbo near the Osun State House of Assembly disappeared from public view overnight giving cause for concern. This turn of events in Osun State politics stimulates a plea from Pade Okunola for everyone to avoid unprofitable behavior and violence. He enjoined everyone to maintain an atmosphere of peace during the current electioneering campaign period.
